My name is Lesley, although half the time or more depending on who you ask, I go by the nickname Kitty. I’m a 2006 graduate of FAUM, and currently living in the Denver Metro Area of Colorado with my large husband and two large dogs. Sometimes my large brother-in-law lives with us as well. We’re generally a pretty happy little family.

I’m an architect, computer enthusiast, country girl, designer, terrible singer, secretary, illustrator, aspiring author, printer, seamstress, photographer, girl gamer, entrepreneur, avid geek, lousy cook, dreamer, night owl, tomboy, and quite a few other things.

Des!gnkitty is the culmination of a goal I had to take my future into my own hands, and while it isn’t where I’d like it to be yet, it’s certainly further than I ever thought. I spend a lot of time looking at home accessories and anything to do with interior design and modern decor. In essence, I got tired of seeing generic home goods that cost an arm and a leg. With a little care, genuine, modern prints can be done for much less, with a little work and a lot of love.

I’m starting out small with pillow cases, tea towels, and other small textiles, but oh baby do I have big plans…
